Christian Audigier - Heavy Metal Peaches Tote

I took a little adventure to Winner's two weeks ago, and fell in love with this gorgeous large tote, with leather and studs. I looked a little closer, and realized it's the Christian Audigier Heavy Metal Peaches tote. I automatically called my dad, and begged him for it (he missed my birthday). He said $150 was too insane for a purse. I told him, "but Daddy, it's a regular $315"!! Didn't work. The next day, while watching Jersey Shore, I noticed, "Hey, Sammi just walked in with my purse!!".

So the next week, I came back, and to my luck, it was still there. So ofcourse, I treated myself to some luxury. It's a very large tote, featuring leather studded top flap, trim and foot pads. It has interior pocket as well as CA print and logo inside.

I adore the leather studded top of the purse. Anything leather or studded is my love!

10 Minute Date Look!

So about half an hour before the time of the movie, I realized, "Oh my goodness, date in 10 minutes". For the first time, I just threw random things on not even really paying attention, and it looked great!

2010 Favorites

Okay, I know I'm a little late with this trend, but I HAVE to. These are my favorites!

1) Best Products for $1
Your hearing that right. My local Dollarama carries Bumpit's! I was impressed, I bought them in every colour.

E.L.F Cosmetic Brushes I managed to find about 5 different brushes, even big powder and blush brushes for $1!

2) Best Eye Shadow Products


I used these religiously all year, and they were all new additions to the collection last year. Funny story, the Milani Eyes palette was busted by my daughter, and she opened it and got black EVERYWHERE. I just noticed this picture was taken on that exact spot of my floor.

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips in Vegas Strip is one of my most used things. I use it for neutral looks, gold looks, even to contour certain looks. It's my favorite eyeshadow ever!

Milani Runway Eyes in Backstage Basics became a favorite very fast with me. I always wore the black/silver smokey eye to the bar, so finding this palette just rocked! Sadly it broke, and every time I go to purchase a new one, it's sold out.

Too Faced Galaxy Glam Baked Eyeshadow in Cocoa Comet & Magenta Moon were the first "baked" eyeshadow I used, and from there I fell in love. I just love how the different swirls of colour come together to form a gorgeous high shimmer holographic look.

3) Favorite Product Line
At first, I started writing this for my HUGE line of Lancome products I use, but while writing it, I realized I didn't really fall for it in 2010, I actually fell out of love with lots of the products. This year I discovered how GREAT Physicians Formula is! I use my Shimmer Sticks as eyeshadow, never has a bronzer. The Bronze Booster in Fair to Light is also the first bronzer I've found that wasn't too dark and heavy for my light skin tones. The 2 in 1 also goes great together, and there's no harshness or caking from having to apply them seperately. Over all, I love this brand! Everything was $19.99, a little pricey, but absolutely great! I can't wait to get more from this brand!

4) Favorite Lip Products


There's a lot of products here, and all I can think is "I wish all the glosses I lost were here". Yupp, I had about 5 other lip products I called favorites. I've always been a DuWop lover, more so I've always used Lip Venom. I was pumped when the tinted Twilight one came out, and was super impressed by the Reverse LipLiner. The dark red lipstick is Adrenaline by Annabelle, the pink is.. I don't know, the name has rubbed off. I do believe it's really old, and MAC. I also had sparkling lips thanks to Lise Watier Plumpissimp Corail, Bourjois Paris Effet 3D Max in Rose Gold, and all my little Sephora Shimmer lipgloss'.

5) Favorite Rediscovered Products

Covergirl products!! I got LashBlast mascara to check out the hype last year, and was all "wow, Covergirl is pretty good", so I went through the drawers and pulled out some old gems. This blush is fantastic! I love the multi coloured in 1, as you get more definition I find. I also don't know why I EVER gave up on this neutral quad, it's perfect (coffee, mink, barely beige and mocha - back when quads didn't have one single name!). I found a bunch of Bonnebelle eye pencils, and realized they have TONS of pigment! This Colour Mousse by Rimmel is also a fantastic colour (Splash), and brought me back to my love for teals and greens.

6) Least Used Products

I don't have a photo, but there wasn't very many products I bought and didn't use. There was TONS I already had and didn't use. Bright and high pigmented colour, as well as colour eye pencil's went unused for a long time. I also bought a lot of Milani singles, and didn't have a chance to use them. I also 100% gave up on concealers.

Superstore nail polish haul! Joe and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear

I was actually just there to buy milk, but couldn't resist peaking at the make-up area. I found lots of goodies, but best of all, nailpolish on sale! Don't mind my messy application pictures, I didn't want to spend forever perfecting 7 different colours.



As you can see, the Joe is 3 different shades of red. This came together, and was on sale for $2.50 for all 3, such a great deal!! The shades are Sweet Tart (meduim red with a bit of sparkle), Wine (solid semi-dark red), and Cherry (solid medium red). These are my first Joe polishes (I've never used anything aside from their brushes). Wine and Cherry have amazing pigment and only required one coat, as where Sweet Tart needed 2-3.


As you can see, the Wine and Cherry were almost the same colours. Again, excuse my messyness, I wanted to hurry and get this posted with out being all fancy about 7 new polishes.


As I was walking back out of the store, I seen that Sally Hansen Hards as Nails Extreme Wear was on sale. I purchased one of these about a month ago, and love it, so I got four more. I really dig these sparkly ones as well!


These colours are killer! You can't tell very much in this photo, but the pink has the same shimmer like the blue and green. I almost forgot to tell you what colours these were too! From left to right: Marine Scene, Rockstar Pink, Ivy League and Twisted Pink.

Marcelle - Lux Metallic Liquid Eyeliner

I was strolling around the store and noticed a new brand to the store - Marcelle! There was a lot of skin products and very little make-up, but I managed to pick up the whole Metallic eyeliner line. They were $12.99 each. They come in 4 colours, Ultraviolet, Jade, Aqua and Cobalt Blue. Amazing sparkle and glimmer, I love high glitter products! Along with glitter, they have a matching semi-translucent base colour, which is great as they can be worn with or without another base liner. I found that with a double application, they are not very translucent, and become intensely glittlery (in a good way!). They took quite a few minutes to dry, as do most glitter's, but had impressive hold. I absolutely love the thin applicator as well, I find them more controllable, as well gives you the choice of thin or thick application.


They also sold the Diamond liner's as well, which were liquids, but just a sheer gold and silver glitter, but I have far too many of those already.

My camera was being a jerk, and really didn't want to focus. As you can see, I'm posting the swatches backwards from the order above. Oh well. Cobalt blue seemed to be more purple as well, but was very pigmented, as well as Jade. I love the transparency of Aqua as well!

I definitely recomment trying out the Metallic line!!

Dawn by Sarah Jessica Parker

I was at Shopper's today picking up some stuff, and noticed this on the $17.99 rack. I had a sample last year in my sampler box, but chose the Viva La Juicy. I've been meaning to get this, but there's always such a huge list of scent's I want!

This is from the Lovely Collection (Dawn, Endless and Twilight). Dawn is a very soft floral with hints of citrus cocktail, violet leaves, angelica, orchid, vanilla, orris, oakmoss, etiver and translucent musk. It's by far my favorite scent from the collection, and one of my all time favorite scents. I find it smells like a lighter version of Stella by Stella McCartney. I personally prefer the softer scents more so than over powering musky scents. It's the softest scent from the collection, which is why I'm more drawn to it then Endless or Twilight.

The bottle has a very gorgeous floral pattern on the back, which is visable as it's a transparent bottle. It's very cute packaging!

My Sephora came!

So after almost 3 weeks of waiting, my Sephora box came yesterday! Longest wait ever, as it got searched at the border. I got the Sephora Favorites LashStash Deluxe Sampler, Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip Deluxe Sampler, Sephora Mineral Powder Foundation and Mineral Matte Setting Powder, Sephora Eyeshadow Transformer, and Sephora Vanilla Cupcake Dry Oil (not in the pictures). It was also my birthday month, but I have a pretty precise hair and skin regimen, so I got the men's gift (face cleanser and shave gel) for Kyle. I was very surprised to see some full sized bottles and larger sampler's in the boxes.

Since there isn't a photo of it, I thought I'd let you know that the Vanilla Cupcake Dry Oil is amazing! It was on sale for $5, so I thought I'd give it a try. I find it's very hard to find good scented vanilla or cupcake products, but this stuff is amazing! It has a small hint of almond scent in it as well. It doesn't have a lasting moisturizing effect, but is it worth it for the scent!I am in love with these! The lipgloss was $33.00 CAD and the mascara was $45.00 CAD. I've already tried out all the lipgloss', but not any of the mascara's.













I didn't swatch and show the very first lip gloss, as it's clear. It's CoverFX Mint Glaze FX. It's one of my favorites from the set. I used it two or three times yesterday, and even after the first time my lips felt so much better. It's a lip treatment as well as lip primer. I also love the subtle tingle from it.

1 - Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Radiant - This gloss has moderate pigment, but loads of shimmer and sparkle. It goes on with a little bit of purple pigment. It has kind of a chocolate smell.
2 - Lorac Multiplex 3D Lip Gloss in Cliche - The picture doesn't do this justice, but the whole line is very sparkley, very pigmented, and holographic. It's a really neat look, and I love how holographic it is. The Cliche colour is also a very bright pink, but as the light hits it, it has hints of purple and blue in the holographics. It also smells a bit like bubblegum.
3 - Buxom Lips in Roxanne - This is very thick and super pigmented. It goes on as a rusted brown, and looks amazing! I wasn't sure when I sampled it on my hand, but after applying it I fell in love! It has a cappuccino scent.
4 - Tarte Vitamin Infused Lipgloss in 40 Winks - This has little to no pigment, and very little sparkle. It does however make the lips feel great, and smells fruity and delicious!
5 - Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Tease - This has moderate pigment, no sparkle. It goes on with a dark purple with little a touch of red in it.
6 - Two Faced Glamour Gloss in Sex Pot - I didn't find this to have any pigment, no sparkle, just shine. I'm not a huge fan, it just seems like a regular lipgloss.
7 - Tarte Rise and Shine Lipgloss and Lipstain in Cherry - This gloss and stain go so great together! The red isn't too powerful, but very pigmented. Quite the perfect red, I feel it would look good on anyone! The stain isn't as runny as most I've used before, which made it easier to apply. The gloss matches perfect, and adds a great glossy shine.
8 & 9 - Sephora Collection Super Shimmer in Rusted Rose and Pink Ballerina - The rusted rose had decent pigment, but the pink ballerina did not. I already had a set of 12 other ones from this collection of gloss, and I wasn't really a big fan. There's a few colours I like, but for the most part they are just a basic gloss.

I think the Mint GlazeFX, Smashbox in Radiant, Lorac 3D in Cliche, and Tarte Stain and Gloss in Cherry are my favorites!

I haven't used any of these, but I have looked at the brushes! I'm just going to let you guys know what kind these are, and what I've heard.
1 - Tarte MultiplEye Lash Enhancing - Pretty basic mascara, free of harsh chemicals
2 - Sephora Advanced Lash Booster - Great mascara, add's lots of length
3 - HourGlass Film Noir - Great for length, volume and defining
4 - Blinc Kiss Me - I've read it clumps, and isn't that great at all. No good reviews found.
5 - Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash - Lengthens and holds curl well, read mixed reviews
6 - Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume - Very defining, good length, a bit flaky
7 - Too Faced LashLight - Something neat, this has a little light built in! I however read bad reviews of this clumping quite a bit, and adds very little volume and length.
8 - Buxom Lash - Makes lashes fuller and longer, doesn't clump, and free of harsh chemicals
9 - Benefit BadGal Lash - Perfect amount of volume and length, gives great curl.
10 - Josie Maran GOGO Natural Volume - Free of harsh chemicals, moisturizes lashes, makes lashes look feathered, lots of mixed reviews.

I'm most excited about Buxom Lash, Benefit BadGal Lash, HourGlass Film Noir and Sephora Advanced Lash. They had the best reviews.

I also got three Sephora brand products to try out.

I got the Loose Powder Mineral Foundation and Mineral Matte Setting Powder. The foundation was on sale for $12, the setting powder was $23. The foundation is a little dark for me, but I plan on using these in the summer when my skin is a little more oily. I also picked up a Eyeliner Transformer. Basically it's a clear coat eyeliner, and you put it in eyeshadow, and TA-DA! Liquid Liner! The brush is a bit thick though, more so because of the shape of my eyes. I really like it for eyebrows though.

Well guys, that's it for what I got! As I use the mascara and the new foundation set more, I'll give you guys an update!

Clean & Clear Morning Burst - Empty bottle review!

As I mentioned before, I had started using the Morning Burst Facial Scrub and Facial Cleanser. I'm completely finished the bottle of facial scrub, the cleanser however, I don't ever want to touch again.

Facial Scrub: This is an okay exfoliator. It's soft and not harsh on the face, which allowed me to use it more frequently on problem area's with blackheads. What set it apart from other exfoliators is that it's creamy as well, not just a dry paste with sand or salt. It does however have polyethylene (plastic) beads and methyl lactate, a form of menthol, that irritates the skin a bit.

Facial Cleanser: This product had nothing to offer, but an annoying dose of menthol. It's basically a thick gel with "beads" in it. It doesn't really get foamy, and doesn't even feel like it's cleany. My face actually felt less clean after using it. I've never really battled dry skin much, but this definitely dried my skin out an INSANE amount. It did nothing for dirt either. I always put my cleanser to the test: use it while make-up is on, then use make-up remover on a cotton ball and see how much make-up is left. This failed the test, horribly. I also have a blackhead problem, and this stuff never helped. The only thing I remotely liked about this product was the refreshing smell.

I recommend skipping both products, and the whole Morning burst line for that matter. Everything contains fragrance and menthol (and irritating amount) and will irritate skin. If your looking for a soft creamy cleanser like the facial cleanser, I recommend trying Olay Total Effects Anti-Aging Cream Cleanser. It's what I've switched to, and I LOVE the results!

Avon Calling :) + Tons of Skincare Freebies and REVIEWS!

Hey guys! So I've been super interested in Avon, the quality of the products, and well ... Selling it! I'm super excited to be a representative, not to mention all the new products and chances to review! After a long discussion on skin products, my mom told me how she couldn't use her Avon products. It's not because there's anything wrong with them, but my mom has the most sensitive skin ever, everything makes her break out, and we're always on the search for a perfect product. Anyways, she was kind enough to give me her whole collection, about $400 worth, of Avon skincare products. The best part: Totally full bottles! I've tried a few out, and some of these I've already been using for years! Read on to hear my thoughts, reviews, and some internet research on just how great these products are! I'm super excited to of had the chance to use all these, especially to help give me seller points along the road.

Just a tip: Most young girls are lucky enough to not have wrinkles. I'm 22, and have fine lines (crow's feet) on my eyes, and deep nasolabial line (the "parentheses" around the mouth). I know it's not quite a huge deal yet, but I'd like to stop and repair these problems young. Another great tip: Most "anti-aging" creams have many more great attributes than reducing fine lines, such as repairing sun damage, evening skin tones, reducing acne and blemishes, and are AMAZING hydrators. If your current creams aren't working for you, try an anti-aging cream out!


Avon Solutions Tinted Moisture Shield SPF 15: This stuff isn't too heavy, and seems to be a good tinted moisturizer. I've read more good reviews than bad. Good points: good coverage for a moisturizer, great for days you want to skip foundation, great for very dry skin Bad points: can be oily, doesn't work well with make-up.

Avon Hydra Gel Intensive Moisture Booster: I used to use this back in the day. It's a very thick gel, and is great for dry or flaky spots on your face. It can also be used as a face mask. I prefer using it as a mask, as it is kind of sticky as a moisturizer.

Anew Ultimate Age Repair Day Cream SPF 25: At first, it seemed a little greasy, but the greasy feeling didn't last more than a few minutes. My face definitely looks more glowy and radiant than most face creams I've experienced. Also, can I mention that I love that it's SPF 25? I'm super pale, so having extra SPF on the face is always needed. I searched high and low for a bad review, and there was none to be found. Some good points: pores shrink, evens skin tones, super hydrates your face without causing breakouts and repairs dry patches, plumps out fine lines... Lists go on and on and on! The only 'bad' things I have to say, is I'm not huge on the smell and packaging.

Anew Clinical Advanced Wrinkle Corrector: I find these wrinkle creams are like botox, it only works for certain stages of wrinkles. If you have heavy wrinkles, say that of the average 65-70 year old, these won't work! They are most definitely aimed at the 25-50 age group. I've read this to be a good moisturizer, evens skin tones, stops blemish.. but the best factor I've read is the help for sun damage. I've read a few reviews that this stuff doesn't work, but I read lots saying it does what a good cream should - plump your skin enough to remove the appearance of fine lines.

Anew Perfect Eye Care Cream SPF 15: I've actually been using this product since I was about 16. Like I said earlier, I've had a few lines and little wrinkles for a long time. I found it to work great, got rid of dark circles and really made my eyes POP! I haven't been using this the last few years, and sure enough, all these problems came back! So I'm excited to have another jar of this. The internet reviews have also told me this does it's job decently. It helps keep fine lines away for a small period of time, and is a great moisturizer, and best of all, doesn't interfere with make-up! However, it doesn't really cause more impressive effects over time, it's a very temporary effect after use. I'm personally attracted to trying the Clinique All About Eyes, so if this cream isn't working for you, I suggest giving that a try.

Anew Force Extra Triple Lifting Night Cream: Another cream with insanely good reviews. I'm actually starting to wonder why women even use the high end brands? Good points: Firms and plumps, fine lines appear softer, skin feels hydrated and soft in the morning. Bad points: Quite sticky (but not oily).

Anew Clinical Deep Crease Concentrate with Bo-Hylurox: This is the product I'm most excited about. I HATE the creases around my mouth, and I want them gone! I haven't used much of this yet, but it's such a neat cream. It's gold and sparkly, and just feels great to rub in. Even though I can't say much about this product quite yet, I have heard and read nothing but great things!

My over-all recommendation: Go buy some Avon products! Some of these products are quite expensive, but you can get insanely good deals on them during sales. Aside from the eye cream, I've read nothing but great reviews for all these products. It blows my mind that they aren't more known, and I really hope this gets some of the word out there! Girls - Start using these products in your skin care regimen, and I swear, when your in your 40's, you'll thank me!

I 100% promise to do another review when the products run out, and whether or not I'll be purchasing more. As it stands now, there's quite a few that are going to be keeps for me!

Nail Polish Review + OOTD

I got a new nail polish around Christmas, and had been dying to use it. I never really painted my nails before, so bear with me while I still kind of suck :) I used Nicole by OPI in Too Rich For You. It's a dark blue/green with subtle sparkles in it. I also used OPI Nail Envy as a base, and Rimmel Base Coat/Top Coat Pro. Just for kicks, I threw on a sparkly little flower.
Even though I have a high quality cam, it's late at night, and I'm unable to show a good shot of what the nail polish really looks like. The two on the left are my nails, and the 3 products I used. Below are other picture's I found on the net, to show you a little better what they look like! This colour definitely has quite a few different looks. Again, I suck at painting nails, but I'm practising, and will be better in time :)






As you can see, depending on the lighting and angle, they totally look colour changing! Personally, I find it to be more green, the flash just makes it much more blue. It's definitely one of my favorite green polish's. I also promise to learn how to take a better photo of my nails, and to learn to apply polish a little better to my nails :)

Soap & Glory Review - LOVES IT

So as you guys know, I picked up Soap & Glory's Flake Away Spa Body Polish.


I've used lots of different body exfoliators such as St. Ives and one from Avon. Flake Away blows them all away. It has subtle exfoliators that don't hurt to rub on your skin, but are definitely powerful enough to get all that dead skin off. During this dry winter, it's definitely a must to have something getting that dry, flaky skin off. But it's so much more than just an exfoliant! Have you guys ever had a body treatment at the spa? You know how it leaves your whole body in this remarkably soft and moisturized state that you wish you could have at home? This totally does it! It's insane how I can go from having scaly skin, to the most amazing skin in the world with this stuff!! Not to mention is smells amazing! It's impossible to explain just how soft your body will be, it's amazing! I am completely blown away by this stuff, and it's going to be a forever product!

I definitely recommend this stuff to everyone, especially for winter! I'm going to be trying more of their products soon! I've been unimpressed with my current pore fighting wash (Boire) so I'm definitely going to try out the Scrub Your Nose In It wash to help minimize the size of pores. I'm also going to be trying The Righteous Butter, Slimwear Balm and Clean On Me shower gel. I've read great things about all 3 products, and can't wait to try more from this line.

Exfoliating Tips! - While exfoliating removes dead skin and dirt, keeping your skin cleaner and healthier, try not to use exfoliators more than twice a week. While a softer exfoliant is great to use almost everyday, more course products can be harsh if used everyday. Always remember to lotion up, no matter how soft you feel after!

Shoppers Haul + Sephora and Partylite Order!

Hey guys! So I finally got a late paycheck after 11 days, and ordered my birthday present (it was from the boyfriend, but ofcourse I ordered it). Anyways, I treated myself to some new stuff, mostly some necessities, and some new candles!


So while my mom was waiting for her prescription at Shoppers, I did some shopping! I've been trying to get a perfect face ritual that works for me. I had been using Clean and Clear Facial Scrub and Facial Cleanser, as well as Boire Pore Minimizing Face Wash. The Boire is doing nothing for my skin. The Clean and Clear duo has helped a little, no break outs or blemish, but my skin as still been oily, isn't helping black heads or my complexion. I had been using Dove Energy Glow Moisturizer, but am retiring it until summertime. I also use Neautrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream SPF 15, but only days I'm out in the sun. So my new line up is Olay Total Effects Nourishing Cream Cleanser and St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I've heard a lot of good things about the cream cleanser, and since it was on sale I decided to pick it up (regular $18.99 CAD on for $13.99 CAD). I also used to use the St. Ives Apricot Scrub on my face in the past, and it was amazing for me! I really don't know why I stopped using it. For night cream and for days I don't go out, I got Neutrogena Moisture Oil Free for combination skin. I've also heard a lot of great things about the oil free line they have.

I also got a few other things. All of the Got2Be hair products were on sale for $3.99 CAD, and my mother swears by them, so I figured I'd give them a try. I decided to try the Fat-Tastic Thickening Mousse, since I'm always trying to find something to pump my volume up when my extensions aren't in. For days they are in, and I don't need extra volume, I got Smooth Operator Smoothing Mousse. I've always been meaning to get something to protect my hair before I iron or blow dry it, so I'm giving the Guardian Angel Heat Protect lotion.

For the longest time, I've been hearing about the Soap & Glory line. It's kind of pricey, but the Flake Away Body Polish was on sale (regular $12.99 CAD, on for $9.99 CAD), so I decided it's time to try it out.

The nail polish wasn't all me! I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter, and she LOVES nail polish. While I was looking at face wash and cream, she grabbed the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Extreme Wear in Strobe Light. It's a super sparkley nailpolish in a pinkish hue, and on top of another colour is a very chunky flaky sparkles, and has a very neat look. Since I was already in the isle, I grabbed the Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro in Violet Metal. The two look great together! I also picked up the Rimmel Lasting Finish Base and Top Coat.

Last but not least, there's that white box! It's a tooth whitening system I've never heard of, Sanaswiss. It was on clearance for $5, so I figured I'd give it a try.

I also ordered from Sephora!! I ordered the Sephora Favorites LastStash Mascara Deluxe Sampler, Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip, Sephora Tricks of the Trade Eyeshadow Transformer (turns eyeshadow into eyeliner), Sephora Mineral Foundation + Mineral Matte Setting Powder, and Vanilla Cupcake Body Oil. I was really hoping to get a few more of those box sets like LashStash, but they were all sold out. I'm also so mad! The weekly specials are so much better today than yesterday! I got a free face cream, today was a Lancome mascara and make up remover!

I also made an order with Partylite for the Forbidden Fruits tealight sampler, the 16 piece votive sampler, a huge Caramel Pear Brulee candle, two of those break away melts (banana leaf and tamboti, tamboti smells like sexy men), and the cutest tealight holder!

Anyways, that's it and that's all! It was a fun shopping day yesterday!

I Don't Like It! + Things I'm Loving + Recent Shopping

I know I already did a post today, but I can't sleep, and I'm bored. As you can tell I had to take down my AMAZING layout, because it just wasn't working right. I'm still trying to figure out how the heck to get the "Older Posts" tab to click at the bottom. Anyways.

I didn't like it!
I bought the Smashbox Photo Finish Lip Primer just before Christmas, and I really don't like it. It's very heavy and greasy, and doesn't hold make-up quite as well as Urban Decay's Primer Potion.

Things I can't live without right now!
My hands get insanely dry in the winter, and I find myself applying hand cream 5-6 times a day. Last year I bought the Almond Oil Hand Rescue from The Body Shop, and it's amazing! I only need it twice a day, and my hands are soft and silky all day.

Here's my recent clothing haul! I did buy a bit of make up, but I've already reviewed it all. I decided to go on a second boxing day trip. I got some really cute clothes, and accessories, and some really great deals!

Melissa Tunic - I got this at Boathouse. It was on sale for $15, regular $40. I absolutely love it! Love great with the new white leggins, and the long beaded necklace. I'm sure I'll blog the outfit when I wear it next :)

Polkadot Miniskirt - This was from Ardene's. The day I went they had a deal on, spend $20 get a free lip tint. I had to buy so many things, because there was such a huge sale in the store. This skirt ended up costing me $4, regular $14.

Wet Paint Striped Tunic - I bought this at Stitches for $10, it was 50% off. I've been huge on tunic's lately, so it was great to find two in one day!

Blue and black Etnies - I have a passion for runners. Also, these are mens. They were on massive clearance, so I couldn't help myself. They were $20 at West 49, they were regular $80.

Young Hollywood Flats - These were a total steal for $15 at Boathouse, regular $35. Reason I was so excited: My feet are very flat and wide, so I have a hard time wearing flats, aka, my feet are too fat for them. These are the first pair I've found that look good, and their super cute to boot!

Wool Leggings - I LOVELOVELOVE leggings! They go so well with my tunic addiction. These are from Ardene's, and they were $12.50 each, but that day it was buy one, get one. Awesome deal, and look great with both the tunic's I picked up that day! I got both the black and white ones

Necklaces - I bought these at Claire's. I've been drooling over these for months, but refused to buy them because they were $20 each. Boxing week rolls around, and they were $5! I was so pumped!!

Military Style Coat - Another great purchase from Stitches. I got this at 50% for $20. I've loved the military style for a while now, and although I have far too many coats, I couldn't resist this! It fits rather tight though.

Rainbow Scarf - So cute! I paid about $2 for this at Ardene's, it was 75% off the sale price. It looks so cute with the new coat!

October Favourites

My make-up has basically been the same as last month, but I have changed a few things, started using something else, or have just taken new a product. Anyways, here goes!

Vaseline Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Body Lotion - $6 - I swapped my summer flowers for chocolate. This stuff is also way lighter, and doesn't leave a greasy touch after (my bath and body works always did).

The Body Shop Almond Oil Intensive Hand Rescue - $15 - I bought this last year, and put it away for the summer. I have really bad cracking hands in the winter, and since it started getting cold, I started using it again. It has a really greasy texture, but my hands stay amazing all winter.

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Blush - Healthy Glow - $17.99 CAD - I've already reviewed this as an amazing blush, but I started wearing it a lot more recently. It's really light, and I love it! The 5 strips gives you different strengths of shimmery pink.

Joico K-Pak - $16.99 each - I've been using it for a while now, and I recently bought two new products, so I'm using a combination of 4 products randomly when showering. I have the Shampoo, Conditioner, Intense Hydrator and Deep Penetrating Re-Constructor. I swear my hair would die without all this! I bleach and dye a lot, so I need to keep it super healthy. If you have slightly damaged hair, died hair, or just not so great hair in general, buy this stuff, it'll fix so many problems with your hair! My hair is much shinier and healthy!

Other than that, I've basically been using the same stuff as last month. Oh! I did however fall in love with a Diva Cup this month! To all the girls, look it up and buy one!

I also got this super cute leather owl purse from Claire's (which I will include a picture at some point of). I also got two new pairs of ripped skinny's from Stitches (which I swore I would never buy again because they always fall apart), and a sweater from Aeropostal because I promised my sister something from there, and sweaters were onsale for $7.50.

October Reviews

I wasn't make-up crazy at all in October. Here's some stuff I got, and if I liked it or not.

Some things I liked:
Caryl Baker Brow Powder, but as soon my eyebrows started to grow out (I suck at plucking, so I just wax them every few weeks) it looked silly. It also sucks that since I started dying blonde it's hard to have dark eyebrows.

3 e.l.f. brushes, Crease, Total Coverage and Bronzer brush. I really don't like the crease brush, but I really like the Total Coverage and Bronzer brush, I use them almost everyday now.

Joico K-Pak Conditioner and Intense Hydrator (I already used the Shampoo and Deep-Penetrating Re-constructor). I'm crazy and use all 4 at once, and my hair is amazing after! I bleach and dye it blonde, and it hasn't gotten lots of breaks or even changed really.

Some things I didn't like:
Rusk Biofoam Extreme Texture and Root Lifter. I haven't really noticed anything better about it then any other voluminous mousse, actually, it didn't really do anything for lift or volume.

Big Sexy Hair Big Shine Spray, which was terrible, it just make my hair greasy. I haven't used it while my hairs been curly, just straight. But it made me look like a grease ball.

Summer Haul + Reviews

So this summer I really cut down on higher end brands and started trying out more department store brands. I'll try to keep everything categorized by product. This is just for summer (June to end of August-ish). I think I'll do season reviews, plus monthy reviews and hauls each spree!

Things I Liked:
Gosh Velvet Touch Foundation Primer - $22 CAD - This was my first face primer. I can't compare it, but I can say I love it. It gives my face a perfect serface to apply make-up, and my face always looks more smooth and less cakey and powdering when this stuff is applied.

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Blush - Healthy Glow - $17.99 CAD - I recently learned to use blush from a friend (she also taught me how to use foundation), but had a hard time finding one that didn't make me look like a clown. This one was really light, and had a bit of sunkissed sparkle. I like the 5 different shade strips, so you can go darker, use all of them, or go light.

Physicians Formula Bronze Booster - Fair to Light - $17.99 CAD - I usually can't use bronzer, but this is the lightest one I've ever found, and it isn't overly sparkly.

Covergirl LashBlast Volume Waterproof Mascara - $8.99 CAD - I used to be a die-hard Lancome mascara user, but I seen lots of girls with amazing lashes who said they used this, so I had to give it a try. I had to throw out all 3 of my Lancome's after I got pink eye, so I grabbed a bottle of this. I absolutely love this stuff! My lashes look so big!! I highly recommend this to all you girls spending $$$ on mascara!!

Maybelline Eyestudio Eyeshadow - Purple Iron, Pink Persuasion, Give Me Gold and Irrisistibly Ivy - $9.99 CAD each - I love, love, love these pallette's! Each one has four shadows, the perfect whole eye coverage pallette. My first one was Purple Icon, a combo of silver and 3 purples. Then I bought Pink Persausion, a combo of silver, pink, dark silver and black. I bought the last two together, Irresistbly Ivy, a blend of beige, two golds, and a aqua green, and Give Me Gold, a off-white, yellow-gold, dark gold, and dark brown. I love every single one of these, and plan on purchasing the rest of the set!

Maybelline Expertwear Eyeshadow - Sunlit Bronze - $11.99 CAD - I am a brown/bronze eyeshadow lover, so I fell for this one as soon as I seen it. I started using this for days I had to be super quick in lue of my usual Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips + Maybelline Sparkling Wine. Great popping yet natural shades!

Milani Runway Eyes Fashion Shadows - Backstage Pass - $12.99 CAD - This has 6 colours ranging from silver to black. I love the silver/black shadow look, so I fell in love when I found this. It had all the colours I could ever need for the look. Sadly, after two months of addiction, it fell off a counter and shattered. I will be buying another very soon, this was a favorite look for going out!

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips - Vegas Strip - $17.99 CAD - This is the base to my everday eye, and has been since the day I bought it. It has five colours ranging from gold to bronze, which I use for my brow bone, lid and crease, which is followed up by Maybelline Expert Eye Shadow Sparkling Wine also applied in the crease and outer edge.

Maybelline Expert Shadow High Pearls - Sparkling Wine - $5.99 CAD - As mentioned above, I used this everyday with the gold. Absolute favorite!! Beautiful purple and golden colour!

Aquafina Hydrating Lip Oil - $1.00 CAD - This stuff really makes my lips feel amazing, and I like the cool tingle it brings.

Things I Didn't Like:
Rimmel Recover Anti-Fatigue Concealer - $6.99 CAD - This is bad concealer, I found it barely had any coverage. I purchased mine in Ivory which is around the same colour as everything else I used. Maybe I need to go darker, but this covered absolutely nothing under my eyes, and I don't even have to horrible of dark circles.

Maybelline Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner - $6.99 CAD - I really didn't like anything about this. It goes on streaky and I do not like sponge applicators. I will go back to splurging for Dior Show Style Liner!

L'Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow - Smokey Eyes - $9.99 CAD - This pallette is of silver's and black, but even with primer, it isn't very "popping". I applied it very thick, and still no rich colour.

Maybelline ExpertWear Eye Shadow Shimmer - Silver Lining - $5.99 CAD - This is a very dull silver, I didn't like it at all.

Bourjois Effect 3D Max Brillant a Levres Lipgloss - Rose Red - $22.00 CAD - I assumed this was going to colour and give my lips and beautiful shine and sparkle. It's very clear, and has barely any shine or sparkle, or anything really amazing about it at all. Wasn't worth the money.

Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm - $2.99 CAD - I don't understand the huge hype about this stuff, because it didn't do anything for my chapped lips. It also tastes terrible.

Softlips Aromatherapy - Replenish - $1.00 CAD - This stuff didn't really improve my lips, and it also made them burn.

I also bought the following stuff, but I haven't really used any of it. Although it shall go into the use-more-to-review bin and be reviewed eventually!

I got quite a few brushes as well, as followed:
- La Cross Premier Crease Shadow - $9.99 CAD - I use this for blending my shadow, and it works great!
- Caryl Baker Brow Defining - $22 CAD - I don't like this brush a whole lot, it's very stiff and I think I'm going to switch to something softer (or possibly a tinted gel for my eyebrows).
- Joe Concealer Brush - $6.99 CAD - I do not like these brushes for liquids what so ever. They are a cheap synthetic or plastic brush that is impossible to clean! Not to mention terrible streaks!
- Joe Foundation Brush - $9.99 CAD - This brush is as bad as the previous, synthetic and impossible to clean, and super streaky!
- Joe Crease Brush - $6.99 CAD - Surprisingly, this brand made a slight comback. This brush is an okay crease brush, but I'm going to invest in something better and longer soon. It gives to thick of a crease.
- Joe Kabuki Brush - $9.99 CAD - I've never used a Kabuki brush before, but it's so much better than a regular powder brush! Applying is a circular motion it really stops caking and doesn't give the powdery look. I really recommend trying one!

This summer fashions were all over for me! Like always I went flipflop crazy. I tried out gladiators, and can still say I do not like them. I'm going to miss ripped up daisy dukes so much, as well as sun dresses! I got this amazing yellow strapless Fovever 21 dress. I also fell for a beautiful leather purse with studs and a huge studded peace sign (not sure the brand).

September Favorites

So since before I re-did my blog, I wanted to do a month's favorite list because they kind of rock. So, since I just re-started, and it's the ending of a month, I'm going to do one for October! It is going to be long, since Fall is keeping a summer glow and being bronzed up, so I used a lot of different things, as well as I discovered lots of new things this month!!

Clean and Clear Morning Burst - Facial Scrub, Facial Cleanser and Make-up Dissolving Foaming Cleanser - $8 CAD each - I starting using these after I ran out of Lancome Creme Radiance last month, and I don't mind it. I didn't really like the Facial Cleanser, but the Facial Scrub was awesome! I also don't find the Make-up Dissolving Foaming Cleanser a good make-up remover, I will be going back to Lancome Bi-Facil.

Bath and Body Works - Wild Honeysuckle Body Lotion - $12 USD - My mom won two big baskets of Bath and Body Works, and she doesn't like strong scents, so she gave me quite a lot of stuff. I was using the Butterfly Flower Body Lotion for a long time, but switched to this one last month-ish. I absolutely LOVE this body butter! I absolutely love anything that smells strongly like flowers, especially honeysuckle or lilac. I smell great all day, and am so soft after using this. I love crawling into bed after rubbing it on, the smell is so smoothing!!

Dove Energy Glow Face Moisturizer - $8 CAD - My face doesn't get as tan as my shoulders and back, so when summer's over I like to keep the tiniest amount of tan I get (it's such a little tan, it's shameful). I like this stuff because it keeps my face a little browner and glowy when summer ends, and is a great moisturizer, especially for the price.

Kaaral Dazzling Perfectly Straitening Cream - $17.95 CAD - Best straigtening balm I've ever used, been using it for years, I recommend it to everyone!!

CoverFX Matte FX Oil Absorbing Powder - Medium - $32 CAD - This powder is much darker than my face, so it keeps it looking a bit darker after I loose colour. It seems a bit thick, but not cakey at all. It wasn't shiney or oily, in fact my face looked amazing all day. I used to only wear this out to bars/anywhere darker, but since summer I wear it all the time. I do warn that the Medium is extremely dark. Once my tan is gone I'll need a new colour.

Physicians Formula Bronze Booster - Fair to Light - $17.99 CAD - I usually can't use bronzer, but this is the lightest one I've ever found, and it isn't overly sparkly.

My eyeshadow routine I've been mostly doing every day was Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips - Vegas Strip ($17.99) on my brow bone, crease and lid. I have also been going over the crease and outer corner with a darker gold with purple in it, Maybelline Expertwear Eye Shadow High Pearls - Sparkling Wine ($7 CAD). I really dig the gold with the golden purple on the crease and outer corner. I always use Dior Show StyleLiner ($35 CAD) on my lids, Lancome Le Crayon Khol ($26 CAD), and as of this summer Covergirl LashBlast ($9 CAD).

Last new thing of the month, before I died my hair blonde, I tinted my eyebrows. Now that I'm blonde, I can't, so I fill them in. I've been using Caryl Baker Brow Blend a lot, and I do really like it, as it comes with 3 shades, but I'm curious about tinted gels, so I may switch soon!

I think that's it cosmetic-ly? Yupp! So this last month I've been addicted to two things, my red tulle coat from WetSeal and my black boots by Bear Paw (totally the new Uggs). I'm also in love with my grey draped cardigan from Stitches! I've also been in love with white dress shirts (they look a lot like chef shirts, or maybe that's just my opinion. Also got one in blue), waiste belts (I bought 3, leather western style, stretchy with zipper, and one that does up in the back with chains on the front), lacey tights and pencil skirts!

Other things I'm addicted to for September, the show Sons Of Anarchy and the band Florence + the Machine.
