My whole collection aka heaven

I decided to have a *almost* make up tour, and show you how I store everything. I realize I do have a lot of make up, but this is almost 10 years of collecting. This is basically everything, there's a few lipsticks and liner's in my purse, a few creams in the bathroom, but it's all mostly here! I'm not going to do close up pics of everything, or give too much detail about absolutely everything, but I'm sure there's going to be some things I want to flap about :)

Don't forget you can click any of my pics to view bigger!

You can see the two big unit's on the right, that's all cosmetics. On the top, I have brushes and purfumes (there's also a Sephora LashStash box hidden under hanging necklaces). I have my earrings and hair accessories on my night stand as well. The boxes in the night stand are all nailpolish on the left, jewelry on the right.

I have a small addiction to purfume (and make-up, clothes, shoes, purses..). In the back there's some mini bottles packs like calgon, and lots of sprays, Victoria Secret Beauty Rush, Bath and Body Works, LOTS of cotton candy sprays (hehe). There's lots of crap on here I *could* part with.. To name a few favorites though, there's my Stella McCartney, Betsey Johnson, Calvin Klein Beauty, Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture, Fancy by Jessica Simpson and Dawn by Sarah Jessica Parker. I used to have more of the Britney Spears and Paris Hilton ones, but I used most of them up. I still love the Britney Spears fragrance though! As you can tell, I'm huge on sweet non-fruity fragrance! (like britney spears, jessica simps, betsey)
Not only are these something I couldn't live without, they are held by something I can't live without - Hello Kitty. Nothing made my dreams come true more than the HK MAC line. I'm all out of the lipgloss' (you wont see them in my drawer's, their in a keepsake box), and the compact mirror is STILL in my purse :)

So this is my eyeshadow drawer number one. The back compartment is silver's and blacks. You can see my Milani palette, that was my favorite, until my daughter dropped it. I use the Maybelline single quite a lot, "Silver Lining". Upfront is my golds and neutrals, which I have quite a lot of. I used to use the 3rd single in from the left, the Maybelline in "High Pearls" on my outer corners when I did gold's and neutrals, but it's since been replaced with using Too Faced Galaxy Glam pots. Lined up on the right, in the back there's the Avon palette I just got, liking the colours a lot! My Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips in "Vegas Strip" is probably my #1 used eyeshadow product. The two Maybelline quad's "Give Me Gold and Sunlit Bronze" is a recent fave. That old crust looking one near the middle, 2nd in on the right, that's my first neutral gold set! I still use it too. The black case beside it is just a quad of browns from Lancome, it was free. There's also some random little pots, and cheap shadows I've found.

This is my second shadow drawer, where I keep most of my singles. In front of the mini cases, there are my Rimmel and Too Faced "baked" shadows. The Rimmel's are creamy, and cake a bit, but are still fun. The Too Faced are amazing, so many different highlights on your eyes from these! It's all "crazier" colours in the front. As you can tell, I have a lot of the L'Oreal Shadows. To be honest, they are some of my favorites, very pigmented, and come in many different styles. The Lancome shadows are also some of my favorite, so holographic and pigmented! The back row is all "cream" shadows. I don't use them a lot. I use the Rimmel Colour Mousse in Splash quite a lot though. There's lots of Eye'Devotions as well, all $1 at dollarama.

This drawer is more random. The front container is "palettes" of all sizes that well, don't really match up on the eyes, and are random. I love the HIP shades from L'Oreal, and plan on buying more. The POPbeauty neon palette was from Sephora, and has very pigmented pinks, blue's, greens, yellows.. I also LOVE the Quo duo in Blue Lagoon, it's a shiney teal, and black with gold sparkle. The back row, I have some mini palettes that go together on the eye. There's a few Maybelline Eyestudio quads, and Quo duo's, that I love!

My current creams drawer (and eyeshadow!). The top left corner is creams I don't use a lot, mostly because it's winter, stuff with tanner's, super SPF's, and my Merle Normans set I've yet to use. The top right corner is loose eyeshadows. I use the Beauty Rush and Annebelle pots a lot. The bottom left corner is everyday creams. Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer, Neutrogena Wrinkle cream, Avon Solutions Tinted Moisturizer, Anew Ultimate Day creme, and Anew Clinical Deep Crease Concentrate. The bottom right is a few other things, deodorant, foot and hand cream, dry oil, toner. Off too the side you can see my big 80 colour eyshadow palette from Icing's, and my neutral and smokey eye palette.

I'll do a closer look at the back row of things, but the front is my powders, blush, bronzer's.. On the left side is my Lancome and CoverFx powders. Beside that, GOSH face primer. The two "lipstick" looking tubes are Meet Mark (avon) stick blushes, love them!! I also have my Bronze Booster by Physicians Formula (first bronzer I've found light enough for my skin!), and under it, the blush/bronzer 2 in 1. I also have a large stack of blush's off to the right (pink and palettes under), all Physicians Formula. I also have my Sephora brand Mineral Foundation + Setting Powder, not a huge fan.

I keep most of my shadow pencils in here, eye primers, and usually concelears and foundations (my foundation isn't in here, it's lancome). I have both the Smashbox and Urban Decay shadow primers. I love Smashbox, but the primer is oily and shit compared to the Urban Decay. Always choose the Urban Decay Primer Potion!! Middle container, eyeliners!! For solids, I have a lot of of the Bonnebell Eye'Definer's, as well NYC Flatliner eye pencils. My favorite all time solid liner, Lancome!! I also have a few of those twisty Avon ones. For liquids, I have the whole Marcell Lux Metallique line (reviewed here), and it's super pigmented, shiney, and gorgeous!! I have a few Meet Mark liner's, don't use them a lot, for the fact that they are super coloured. But when I do, high pigments, gorgoues colour, and long lasting! I also have the pink, blue and black sparkled Too Faced Starry Eyed Liquid Liners, my faves!! They have a super huge amount of sparkle in them, I wear them all the time!! For cream liners, I just use the Avon and Maybelline brands, but I love them. I always used Dior Style Liner, it was was crazy to find something that was just as good, after all these years and dollars! The third row is my mascara's. I have a lot, mostly from my Sephora LashStash box, but two are my faves. Those would be Covergirl LastBlast (the only thing from Covergirl I actually like) and Lancome Hypnose Drama. I've used Hypnose for yeas, Drama was a fave new mascara when it came out!

This drawer is mostly eyelashes. The whole back row is eyelashes. The left top side is super huge, coloured, sparkled, and "special event" eyelashes, the right side is everyday lashes. The bottom left is q-tips (for fixing make up uh ohs), sponges, sharpeners. The bottom right side is my brush cleaner, Boire strips, and eyelash glue.

This is my hair drawer! I don't use everything all the time. The bottom layer is actually just a ton of hair extension products. I have my new hairspray, Brocato, which I purchased (and blogged!) a little while ago, and is amazing. I also use Kaaral straightening balm and split end mender before blow drying, and dayly. I have a few other mouses for different looks, few different gels and putty's.

We're finally onto the lipstick/gloss container!! This top drawer is all treatments, balms, lip liners, plumpers. I use my CoverFX a lot, as well as my DuWop Venoms. Another favorite thing, the Tarte 2 in 1 (stain and gloss).

The next drawer is all gloss that's very pigmented, and more like lipstick. I love my Lorac holographic, although it's a little high colour to use a lot. I use the Benefit double and the Flaunt Beauty pot the most.

This drawer is of lipgloss' that don't have much pigment, and I use these quite frequently more. Faves: Lancome juicy tube, and the wands from Claire's. Although really, I use ALL of these, all the time.

These are my lipsticks. As you can see, most of them are from Avon. I am a representative, so I get a lot of them cheap. I mostly wear bright pinks and dark reds.

I never stopped loving BonneBell Smackers. I use these all the time! I love the yummy flavours!

Well, that's all folks. It took a long to write this, I started and got busy so many times, it's been saved on here forever, I figured it's time to finish! I hope you gals enjoyed the tour!

2010 Favorites

Okay, I know I'm a little late with this trend, but I HAVE to. These are my favorites!

1) Best Products for $1
Your hearing that right. My local Dollarama carrie
s Bumpit's! I was impressed, I bought them in every colour.

E.L.F Cosmetic Brushes I managed to find about 5 different brushes, even big powder and blush brushes for $1!

2) Best Eye Shadow Products

I used these religiously all year, and they were all new additions to the collection last year. Funny story, the Milani Eyes palette was busted by my daughter, and she opened it and got black EVERYWHERE. I just noticed this picture was taken on that exact spot of my floor.

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips in Vega
s Strip is one of my most used things. I use it for neutral looks, gold looks, even to contour certain looks. It's my favorite eyeshadow ever!

Milani Runway Eyes in Backstage Basics became a favorite very fast with me. I always wore the black/silver smokey eye to the bar, so fi
nding this palette just rocked! Sadly it broke, and every time I go to purchase a new one, it's sold out.

Too Faced Galaxy Glam Baked Eyeshadow in Cocoa Co
met & Magenta Moon were the first "baked" eyeshadow I used, and from there I fell in love. I just love how the different swirls of colour come together to form a gorgeous high shimmer holographic look.

3) Favorite Product Line
At first, I started writing this for my HUGE line of Lancome products I use, but while writing it, I realized I didn't really fall for it in 2010,
I actually fell out of love with lots of the products. This year I discovered how GREAT Physicians Formula is! I use my Shimmer Sticks as eyeshadow, never has a bronzer. The Bronze Booster in Fair to Light is also the first bronzer I've found that wasn't too dark and heavy for my light skin tones. The 2 in 1 also goes great together, and there's no harshness or caking from having to apply them seperately. Over all, I love this brand! Everything was $19.99, a little pricey, but absolutely great! I can't wait to get more from this brand!

4) Favorite Lip Products

There's a lot of products here, and all I can th
ink is "I wish all the glosses I lost were here". Yupp, I had about 5 other lip products I called favorites. I've always been a DuWop lover, more so I've always used Lip Venom. I was pumped when the tinted Twilight one came out, and was super impressed by the Reverse LipLiner. The dark red lipstick is Adrenaline by Annabelle, the pink is.. I don't know, the name has rubbed off. I do believe it's really old, and MAC. I also had sparkling lips thanks to Lise Watier Plumpissimp Corail, Bourjois Paris Effet 3D Max in Rose Gold, and all my little Sephora Shimmer lipgloss'.

5) Favorite Rediscovered Products

Covergirl products!! I got LashBlast mascara to check out the hype last year, and was all "wow, Covergirl is pretty good", so I went through the drawers and pulled out some old gems. This blush is fantastic! I love the multi coloured in 1, as you get more definition I find. I also don't know why I EVER gave up on this neutral quad, it's perfect (coffee, mink, barely beige and mocha - back when quads didn't have one single name!). I found a bunch of Bonnebelle eye pencils, and realized they have TONS of pigment! This Colour Mousse by Rimmel is also a fantastic colour (Splash), and brought me back to my love for teals and greens.

6) Least Used Products

I don't have a photo, but there wasn't very many products I bought and didn't use. There was TONS I already had and didn't use. Bright and high pigmented colour, as well as colour eye pencil's went unused for a long time. I also bought a lot of Milani singles, and didn't have a chance to use them. I also 100% gave up on concealers.

My Sephora came!

So after almost 3 weeks of waiting, my Sephora box came yesterday! Longest wait ever, as it got searched at the border. I got the Sephora Favorites LashStash Deluxe Sampler, Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip Deluxe Sampler, Sephora Mineral Powder Foundation and Mineral Matte Setting Powder, Sephora Eyeshadow Transformer, and Sephora Vanilla Cupcake Dry Oil (not in the pictures). It was also my birthday month, but I have a pretty precise hair and skin regimen, so I got the men's gift (face cleanser and shave gel) for Kyle. I was very surprised to see some full sized bottles and larger sampler's in the boxes.

Since there isn't a photo of it, I thought I'd let you know that the Vanilla Cupcake Dry Oil is amazing! It was on sale for $5, so I thought I'd give it a try. I find it's very hard to find good scented vanilla or cupcake products, but this stuff is amazing! It has a small hint of almond scent in it as well. It doesn't have a lasting moisturizing effect, but is it worth it for the scent!I am in love with these! The lipgloss was $33.00 CAD and the mascara was $45.00 CAD. I've already tried out all the lipgloss', but not any of the mascara's.

I didn't swatch and show the very first lip gloss, as it's clear. It's CoverFX Mint Glaze FX. It's one of my favorites from the set. I used it two or three times yesterday, and even after the first time my lips felt so much better. It's a lip treatment as well as lip primer. I also love the subtle tingle from it.

1 - Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Radiant - This gloss has moderate pigment, but loads of shimmer and sparkle. It goes on with a little bit of purple pigment. It has kind of a chocolate smell.
2 - Lorac Multiplex 3D Lip Gloss in Cliche - The picture doesn't do this justice, but the whole line is very sparkley, very pigmented, and holographic. It's a really neat look, and I love how holographic it is. The Cliche colour is also a very bright pink, but as the light hits it, it has hints of purple and blue in the holographics. It also smells a bit like bubblegum.
3 - Buxom Lips in Roxanne - This is very thick and super pigmented. It goes on as a rusted brown, and looks amazing! I wasn't sure when I sampled it on my hand, but after applying it I fell in love! It has a cappuccino scent.
4 - Tarte Vitamin Infused Lipgloss in 40 Winks - This has little to no pigment, and very little sparkle. It does however make the lips feel great, and smells fruity and delicious!
5 - Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Tease - This has moderate pigment, no sparkle. It goes on with a dark purple with little a touch of red in it.
6 - Two Faced Glamour Gloss in Sex Pot - I didn't find this to have any pigment, no sparkle, just shine. I'm not a huge fan, it just seems like a regular lipgloss.
7 - Tarte Rise and Shine Lipgloss and Lipstain in Cherry - This gloss and stain go so great together! The red isn't too powerful, but very pigmented. Quite the perfect red, I feel it would look good on anyone! The stain isn't as runny as most I've used before, which made it easier to apply. The gloss matches perfect, and adds a great glossy shine.
8 & 9 - Sephora Collection Super Shimmer in Rusted Rose and Pink Ballerina - The rusted rose had decent pigment, but the pink ballerina did not. I already had a set of 12 other ones from this collection of gloss, and I wasn't really a big fan. There's a few colours I like, but for the most part they are just a basic gloss.

I think the Mint GlazeFX, Smashbox in Radiant, Lorac 3D in Cliche, and Tarte Stain and Gloss in Cherry are my favorites!

I haven't used any of these, but I have looked at the brushes! I'm just going to let you guys know what kind these are, and what I've heard.
1 - Tarte MultiplEye Lash Enhancing - Pretty basic mascara, free of harsh chemicals
2 - Sephora Advanced Lash Booster - Great mascara, add's lots of length
3 - HourGlass Film Noir - Great for length, volume and defining
4 - Blinc Kiss Me - I've read it clumps, and isn't that great at all. No good reviews found.
5 - Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash - Lengthens and holds curl well, read mixed reviews
6 - Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume - Very defining, good length, a bit flaky
7 - Too Faced LashLight - Something neat, this has a little light built in! I however read bad reviews of this clumping quite a bit, and adds very little volume and length.
8 - Buxom Lash - Makes lashes fuller and longer, doesn't clump, and free of harsh chemicals
9 - Benefit BadGal Lash - Perfect amount of volume and length, gives great curl.
10 - Josie Maran GOGO Natural Volume - Free of harsh chemicals, moisturizes lashes, makes lashes look feathered, lots of mixed reviews.

I'm most excited about Buxom Lash, Benefit BadGal Lash, HourGlass Film Noir and Sephora Advanced Lash. They had the best reviews.

I also got three Sephora brand products to try out.

I got the Loose Powder Mineral Foundation and Mineral Matte Setting Powder. The foundation was on sale for $12, the setting powder was $23. The foundation is a little dark for me, but I plan on using these in the summer when my skin is a little more oily. I also picked up a Eyeliner Transformer. Basically it's a clear coat eyeliner, and you put it in eyeshadow, and TA-DA! Liquid Liner! The brush is a bit thick though, more so because of the shape of my eyes. I really like it for eyebrows though.

Well guys, that's it for what I got! As I use the mascara and the new foundation set more, I'll give you guys an update!

Merry Christmas (over due post!)

So I've been super busy with Christmas the last month, but I've been also been make-up crazy. Lots of stuff for christmas, boxing day sales, best friend moved away so I go hand me downs! Unfortunate make up news, I had really, really wanted the Lise Watier Jingle Bell Eyeshadow Palette, but my WHOLE city is sold out.

I got a few new things before christmas:
- Benefit All You Need Is Gloss Set - Comes with 3 double sided lipglosses. This was my holiday substitute for not getting the Lise Watier palette. I'm really loving the I'm With The Band shade, reminds me of my favorite Mac Lipglass in Dreamy. I definitely recommend getting this, pretty good bargain for $30. Came with Life On The A List, I'm With The Band, Who Are You Wearing, 24 K, Back To The Fuchsia, and Almost Famous. They all had a good scent/flavour except for Almost Famous.
- Too Faced Galaxy Glam in Cocoa Comet - A friend got me this as a early gift after I went on and on about the Galaxy Glam Magenta Moon shadow. I had never used the swirly colours like these before, and I'm glad I made the leap. It's a shimmery brown, with hints of light brown, champagne, and sky blue. I've been doing the gold/neutral look for a while, so these go great on the outer corner's to glam up the look a little. They were (hopefully still are) on sale for $10.50 at Beauty Express, I recommend getting a few, they are so versatile! They are so neutral, but have a very sheen hint of colour.
- Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara - I've been using Maybelline Lashblast since I got pink eye a few months back, and had to throw out almost 4 tubes of Lancome. It was okay, but I've always been a fan of Hypnose, and have been dying to try the new "Drama". I find it takes less coats than the normal Hypnose to get the long, voluminous, dramatic look. I've also realized that it impossible to get off, I was sick for a few days and didn't wash it off, and it looked the same after 3 days of sleep as the day I put it on. It definitely gives you the fake lash look, although Hypnose has always been great for that. I also like the new colour this comes in, "Excessive Black".
- Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer - I ran out of eyeshadow primer, and really needed some, and couldn't wait for a Sephora order for Urban Decay. I'm not as impressed with this as Urban Decay Primer Potion. It's much more oily, creases more, and is much too dark. I find it doesn't hold the make up in place nearly as good as Primer Potion either. I'll finish the bottle and re-review it, although I don't really think my opinion will change. Proves the point that when you find something you love, stick to it!

Santa was also great to me! I have yet to use my true you! Brush Set, but will review it in the future! It was a 6 piece set, blush, foundation, powder, lip and eyeliner brushes, and of course a brow brush. I got lots of new little Bonnebell Smackers, I can never have enough, they hide everywhere! Tons of flash lashes, nails, nail polish (lots from the OPI Nicole line).

Also picked up some awesome stuff for boxing day!
- Quo Minerals Matter Eye Duo in Blue Lagoon - I put this on as soon as I got home! I wasn't able to find pictures of any of the Quo makeup I got today, but I'll explain the best I can. These two colours don't really go together, but on their own are amazing! One is a shimmery blue/green (more emerald) with gold highlights in it, and the other colour is a black with gold sparkles. I've always been a sucker for the shimmery colours, especially blue/green combo's.
- Quo Couture Eyeshadow Duo's in Shadow Lady, Beyond Bliss and Knights Amour - I couldn't tell you which one is which, as they were on clearance ($12 marked down to $3) and all pulled out of their boxes. I grabbed all 3 and boxes to let you know what the names were. First palette: shimmery gold with a sparkle, and shimmery emerald with gold highlights and a sparkly effect. These two are gorgeous! They are two of my favorite shades, and go beautifully together! Second palette: Shimmery/sparkly dark pink, and sparkly/shimmery black. I don't really wear these colours anymore (well, I use black), but it's a very cute combo, and a very innocent light shimmery pink that would go with anything! Last palette: shimmery dark purple and shimmery silver. These two are very like the last palette, just a few shades different. Not sure what I think of the silver, but the purple is gorgeous!

All Quo make-up is Canadian exclusive. They are very vibrant, long lasting shadows, and all together a great brand of make-up. I've also used their brushes, and love love love them! I use their eyeshadow liner brush and smudger. The lipgloss' are also soft, none sticky, and taste and smell amazing!!

I also got free samples of Icing's by Claire's new Flaunt Beauty line. I got a little tub of the dark red colour, called Guava. It's more of a gloss, but is definitely long lasting colour! I've been very impressed with this store's quality of make up. I had also picked up a 82 colour shimmer palette, smokey eye 4 shadow palette, and the neutral eye 4 shadow palette, both which I have been highly impressed by. The 82 colour palette has such rich colours, and are so shimmery!

I also made the switch today from liquid eye liner to cream eyeliner. I got the Maybelline New York EyeStudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Charcoal. I immediately used it as soon as I got home, and was so impressed! It goes on so much easier than liquid eyeliner, and blends and is so much easier to create different looks! I'm definitely excited about this new switch I've made! I definitely want to go pick another one up in Blackest Black while they are on sale, because they are so worth it!! I had thought the Charcoal would be a lot darker than it is.

I also got a few goodies from a friend who moved away, she was clearly out make up she never used and I scooped some up, mostly stuff I've never tried. She gave me 2 Beauty Rush Luminous Shadows (loose shadows by Victoria's Secret) in Emerald City and Blutopia. These are really light colours, but are insanely shimmery and sparkle! They are much like the Annabelle Pigment Dust (which we both happen to love), so shimmery and full of highlights! I'm definitely going to be running down to La Senza to get more. I have never tried N.Y.C before, and she gave me a neutral shadow duo in Duo de ville. One is brown, one is white, both have a very pearle look. As well, a pot of Smooth Mineral Loose Blush Powder in Almost Apricot. I'll definitely have to wait until summer to rock this, because it very dark. I'm also not used to the loose mineral powders and need practice. Something I had wanted to try for a while, L'Oreal's specialized eyeshadow colours for different eye colours. This one is for brown eyes (I have green eyes), but are neutral colours, so I'm excited to try them. I've loved the whole L'Oreal Wear Infinite line for years, but I'm sure I'll do a product line review eventually (that sounds fun!).

Anyways, I hope you all had a great christmas! New reviews soon to come, as well as full product line reviews!

Beauty Express Haul, more update info!!

So before I get into the goodies, I just want to let you guys know what's coming soon. I really want to get a youtube channel going soon, it seems way more exciting and it should get more attention, plus then I can do tutorials. I will be doing a September favorites list later today (which I will do on the first of every new month) , and soon to come, a list of all the things I didn't like, and how I get my daily routine, complete with pictures. I think I'm going to do something like the "what I like and don't like" every few days. Also, as well as the favorites at the end of the month, I'm going to write up everything I got, and how I liked it.

So today I was applying for a job at Pantorama (interview Thursday!!) and noticed Beauty Express had a big sale. I didn't go too wild, because I get paid again in a few days so I figured I'll just get another shopping spree later this week (plus I have to get my eyebrows done today, so I don't want the bf too think I went wild). Anyways, here's what I got (i'll write the original price, but everything was 50% off):

Brocato Moveable Hold Hairspray $17.00 CAD - I've never used it, or heard of it, but the girl says it good, so I'll try it (I was almost out anyways).

OPI Maintenance Nail Envy $19.95 CAD - I used to have the original nail envy, but someone stole it. Best nail strengthener ever! I used the Sally Hansen Diamond Strength once, and it made my nails so hard the broke. This stuff doesn't over do it though, and helped my nails grow and not break very well. Pumped I got more!!

Too Faced Chocolate Galaxy Glam - Magenta Moon $20.50 - I have never used these swirly multicoloured eyeshadows before, so I had to put it on as soon as I got home!! It looks beautiful! It's pink and brown, but goes on very shimmery golden pink. Definitely going to be using this one a lot, I figured out how to work it into my every day routine already.

Too Faced Starry Eyed Liquid Liner - Restraining Order and Control Freak $20.50 each - I already had the blue one, but picked up the black and pink one today. I loved my blue one, but being such a bright colour I don't use it often. The black sparkles I will use a lot, especially since I now use liquid eyeliner everyday. The pink is really cute too, and goes great with the Galaxy Glam Magenta Moon shadow I bought. These have so much sparkle, I love them!!
